Welcome to Harewood Cottage

Whether you are visiting South East Cornwall on holiday, for a wedding, on business or even cycling through, Harewood Cottage Bed & Breakfast is the perfect location for your visit.

Having travelled extensively & stayed at many Bed & Breakfasts around the world Jane & Ian know what they like & appreciate & wish to replicate this at Harewood Cottage.

When you stay with us you'll experience something a bit different than the "normal" B & B.
We try to take life at a slower pace here.

We produce our own apple juice, preserves, seasonal fruit & vegetables & honey.
What we can't produce we source locally and is Fairtrade certified whenever possible.

Our two bedrooms (situated on the first floor) are light, spacious, tastefully furnished & equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdrier, towels, use of iron.
What our bedrooms don't have though are TVs
but we do have Superfast Broadband in all rooms.

"My partner, Julie and I had a super two days staying with Jane and Ian in their lovely house, overlooking the Tamar River and Valley. We stayed in the large double garden room with a balcony. As the house is at the top of a hill the views are absolutely stunning. The room is extremely comfortable with coffee and tea making facilities and a Super King Size bed. The village of Calstock is just a 10 minute walk down a steep hill (if driving, there is a large free car park). Our highlight was the train ride from Calstock over the viaduct to Plymouth which we would definitely recommend. We were both delighted to share an evening meal outside on a beautiful summer evening with Jane and Ian; a lovely end to our holiday. Thank you both so much."

"Ian & Jane are amazing hosts. Welcoming & unobtrusive at the same time. The cottage is delightful & the views from upstairs are breath taking. Sitting on the balcony of the room with a view was a great way to relax before venturing out. Breakfast was lovely too. Can definitely recommend this beautiful B&B ... "

"Jane and Ian's place is just perfect for those considering a (sporty) holiday and are looking for a place to stay. Communication was fast and clear, room clean and well stocked with coffee and tea. Last but not least, Jane and Ian are great hosts, who cooked up a beautiful breakfast before leaving again. A 5 out of 5 for sure!"

"Wow what a stunning location. The view is fantastic. I had the perfect stay with Jane and Ian. They both made me feel very welcome and greeted me with tea and homemade cake on arrival. Jane and Ian informed me about a lovely local walk through woods past Cornish mining heritage site and along the river side. Jane cooked me a superb breakfast with homemade bread. They really made my stay special. We had some interesting chats... I would recommend a stay here..."

"This house, situated on the edge of the Tamar Valley has stunning views from the "Room with a View", with dual aspect, all along the valley. The hospitality was outstanding making us feel very welcome by our two hosts, Jane and Ian, whose company we really enjoyed. "
